Mechanism of Electric Nasal Washers
1. The nasal mucosa tissue of rhinitis is swollen or edematous, with scabs, purulent and thick secretions, or excessive watery secretions, which hinder the flow of air in the nasal cavity, leading to nasal congestion (of course, nasal polyps, enlarged turbinates, and deviated nasal septum can also cause nasal congestion, which is best treated with surgery).
2. The insensitivity of the sense of smell is also because these things hinder the airflow from reaching the olfactory area in the upper part of the nasal cavity, making the olfactory nerve unable to contact the airflow.
3. Bacteria, allergens, and watery secretions accumulated in the nasal cavity can stimulate nerves, causing nasal itching and sneezing.
4. The accumulation of bacteria and allergens in the nasal cavity can cause excessive secretion from the glands, resulting in a large amount of nasal mucus flowing out from the front of the nose.
5. Swelling or swelling of the nasal mucosa tissue in rhinitis, along with scabs, purulent and viscous secretions, or excessive water like secretions, can block the opening of the sinuses, causing negative pressure in the sinuses and causing headaches.
6. Bacteria, allergens, and purulent secretions accumulate in the nasal cavity, causing inflammation to continue to develop, worsening the condition, and can spread to other adjacent organs, resulting in complications.
Instructions for using electric nose washers
1. Inserting and removing the nozzle: Insert the nose wash nozzle into the middle position of the knob (at the top of the nose wash handle). If the nozzle is locked in place, the colored ring should be flush with the end of the knob. To remove the nose wash nozzle from the handle, please install the nozzle pop-up button and then remove the nozzle from the handle.
2. Power on: When using it for the first time, please tighten the pressure control panel on the device base to the minimum value. Turn on the switch and gradually increase the pressure according to personal preferences, or follow the guidance of a professional nasal specialist to increase the pressure.
3. The machine has a slow pulse water jet, bend over the washbasin, open your mouth to breathe, and slowly align the nozzle near your nostrils (be careful not to directly plug the nozzle into your nostrils). If both nostrils are unobstructed, you can slowly block one nostril with the nozzle, allowing salt water to flow out of the other nostril or flow back from your mouth. This can further clean your entire nasal cavity and sinuses, and then adjust the water flow to the appropriate size according to your own condition. If you have nasal congestion on one or both sides when using this product, do not directly block the nostrils with the nozzle. Please use medium water flow first, and then slowly let the nozzle approach the nostril for flushing. Later, try gently plugging one nostril with the nozzle.
4. Pause control: You can press the pause control button on the handle of the nasal washer at any time to temporarily block fluid flow.
